Virginia Park, who has served as recorder since 1989, has significantly upgraded the Recorder’s office. Improvements include converting ALL incoming real estate documents from paper to electronic image. The index for these documents (from 1994 and onward) is also stored electronically and is instantly available. This provides quick access to all documents for anyone researching the land records for title verification, history projects or genealogical work.

Park operates the Recorder’s office efficiently and in a cost-effective manner, saving money for the county‘s taxpayers. Primary to this efficiency is that Park has cross-trained all office employees. This provides consistent and fast service to all persons who enter, email or call the Recorder‘s office seeking assistance.
